Virtual mental health counseling with the flexibility that works for you.
Hi, there! We’re Stephanie and Joel.
Originating from the Western Suburbs of Chicago and migrated to the mountains of Knoxville, TN, we provide virtual mental health counseling (also know as tele-health, much like a zoom call) for those residing anywhere within Illinois or Tennessee.
Y’all Means All!
At Living Roots Counseling Inc, we are a safe, welcoming, and affirming space for folks of all gender, sexual, racial, ethnic, and religious identities.
The Benefits of Online Counseling
Convenience
Virtual therapy cuts out travel time, potentially uncomfortable waiting room time, and allows integration into your day-to-day life (during a lunch break, toddler’s nap time, between work calls) on your terms.
2. Accessibility
When unpredictable and stressful circumstances pop up that may otherwise force you to cancel your session, you have the flexibility of keeping your appointment at a moment when you may benefit from therapy the most.
3. Comfort
By meeting virtually, you have the benefit of familiarity, predictability, and comfort in your environment of choice. Engaging in the work of therapy is enough of a growing process, experience an increased sense of security knowing that you are in control of your space.
